Recognise, never guess
Sento reads your columns and says what it is unsure about. What it cannot prove, it asks you, rather than quietly filling something in.
Sento is the digital data and analytics platform for e-commerce. All your business data in one place, checked and turned into advice you can build on.
Orders, costs, payouts and hours in a single database. Your whole organisation works from the same number.
Every line is checked before it counts. What does not add up gets named instead of quietly smoothed over.
Ask your question in plain language and read the answer with the calculation and the source beside it.
Stored in the EU, encrypted in transit and at rest, and never used to train AI models.
Platform
Sento brings your sources together, calculates with fixed rules and explains what comes out. Every amount clicks through to the line it came from.

Data checks
Most reporting errors are not in the arithmetic but in the data underneath it. Sento names what is wrong instead of smoothing it over.
Sento reads your columns and says what it is unsure about. What it cannot prove, it asks you, rather than quietly filling something in.
If data is missing, the figure says which share of your revenue it covers. A gap never silently becomes a zero here.
Lines are de-duplicated within an invoice and never across invoices, so a correction sent later cannot hit your costs twice.
Connections and explanations come from the AI, the amounts from fixed calculations. A language model can never change your numbers.
Systems
Sento reads the exports you already run, and fetches the data itself from a growing number of systems. Nothing has to migrate and nobody has to unlearn what they know.

Use cases
Four questions separate systems cannot answer, and one checked database can.
Get startedEvery bit of revenue and every cost attached to an order, from purchase value to the line on the carrier invoice. Including the costs no order system holds.
Every line on your carrier invoice goes to the shipment it belongs to. So you see per destination, weight and method what you pay and what you pass on.
Looking ahead instead of back. You see how your liquidity develops based on your own seasonal pattern, buying rhythm and payment terms.
Ask the AI in plain language what you want to know about your own numbers, and read the answer with the calculation and the source beside it. No report to build, just ask.
Setup
Your exports as CSV or Excel, or a connection that fetches them for you. Nothing about the way you work today has to change.
Columns are recognised, differences named, duplicate lines removed. What Sento cannot prove, it asks you.
Your margin, your costs and your norms, in plain language, with the calculation and the source line behind every statement.

About us
The calculation rules come from real month-end closes, including the mistakes that cost money there.
The monthly numbers of an e-commerce business come from separate corners: revenue from the order system, costs from the carrier invoices, payouts from the payment provider. Every system is right about its own piece, and nobody can say how the business is actually doing.
I ran that close myself, month after month, and Sento is the tool I wanted back then. It puts those sources side by side, checks them before anything lands, and shows for every amount which file and which line it came from.
Once, yes. Every month again, with a few hundred thousand carrier lines and an invoice that arrives two weeks later, it becomes a full day nobody wants. Sento does the same steps and records for every amount where it came from.
For e-commerce businesses in the Netherlands and Belgium that steer on revenue and bank balance but miss the whole picture. Too big for bookkeeping alone, not yet a finance team of their own.
Any package that can export, via CSV or Excel. On top of that there are connections that fetch your data themselves, so your overview stays current without you doing anything.
Every amount clicks through to the line in your own file it came from. If data is missing, Sento says which share of your revenue the figure covers instead of quietly making it a zero.
A dashboard draws whatever you feed it; it checks nothing. Power BI does not answer "is this number right", and you maintain the connections and calculations underneath yourself. Sento checks the data before it counts, shows the source line behind every amount, and lets you ask your follow-up question in plain language instead of building another report for it.
For a single file, often yes. The difference is what the model can see and what you dare do with the answer. Sento works on your whole database instead of one upload, so it can connect your orders, your carrier invoices and your payouts at the same time. And the amounts come from fixed calculations, not from the model: you get the sum and the source with it, so you can check the answer.
We agree that per engagement. We are starting with a small group of businesses building along with what they need themselves, and pricing follows once that group is in place.
